Philosophy Hope For The Holidays gift set

Hi! Please excuse me for being a little absent last week. I’ve been busy with work, and just had too much on my mind to focus on my blog. But I’m back! Just in time to share another holiday gift tip, this time the Philosophy Hope For The Holidays giftset. I’m a fan of Philosophy, I’ve been using the night cream and the make up remover for a while now. Wanna know more about this Holiday giftset?
I’m a huge fan of liquid lipsticks. So when I saw the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks at Voluminous, I knew I just had to try one of the amazing shades. Jeffree Star is known for it’s bold colors, but I decided to go for a more neutral shade:”I’m Nude”.
I couldn’t wait for this package to arrive last week, the L.A Splash liquid lipstick: ‘OG Ghoulish’. It’s part of the L.A Splash Lip Couture Liquid Lipstick line, which are liquid-to-matte lipsticks. As you can see it’s a very special colour, and probably not everyone’s cup of tea. I’ve been loving the matte lip trend, and was curious to try out this color and to find out if it’s comfortable and lasting.
Today I’m reviewing a new product that’s part of my daily routine: the L’Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation I’ve been using it for a few weeks now. I’ve been a big fan of light and natural looking foundations, but after my Hello Flawless foundation ran out, and my skin broke out, I felt I needed a little bit more help coverage wise. Also: the budget was a little bit tight. I just came back from Paris, and my first paycheck wasn’t coming in untill the end of September. I watched Beauty Guru Desi Perkins use this in one of her video’s, so decided to buy it and see if this is a foundation that suits me.
I still miss having a Sephora here in Holland, so naturally I was very excited to spend a little time shopping and browsing in one of my favorite beauty stores, during my trip to Paris. I didn’t have a huge budget to spend, so I made sure that I spend my money wise and picked something I knew I wouldn’t regret buying.
So I present to you my Sephora purchase: The Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette! By far the most tasty looking and delicious item in my make up collection. The palette has a mix of sixteen eyeshadows, that are infused with cocoa powder. The eyeshadow shades are beautiful complimentary colors. The palette contains a mix of shimmers and mattes, and also has extra large highlight shades
An eyeshadow palette that not only looks like a chocolate bar, but actually smells like my favorite treat, chocolate… Too Faced I love you! ;-)
Hi! Today I’m showing you the result of one of my late night online shopping sessions. This time I was looking at some Topshop dresses. I wanted to fill my basket up with enough items, so I wouldn’t have to pay any delivery costs, and then realized I’ve never tried any Topshop make up products. So I picked out the ‘Magic Liner’ and the ‘Freckle Pencil’. Topshop added the Party Proof Mascara to my basket for free, really nice! Have a look at my beauty buys and swatches!
The liquid matte trend is here to stay! I’ve seen a lot of amazing liquid mattes on the internet, but a lot of those aren’t sold here in the Netherlands, and that makes it a little too expensive for me.( I’m still hoping those Anastasia liquid lipsticks will eventually come to the make up stores here in the Netherlands.)
Today I’m reviewing the budget friendly version, the”Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss” by L.A. Girl Cosmetics. I love a matte lip and was dying to try these out. It’s a matte gloss that comes in sixteen colors. L.A Girl Cosmetics describes it as an ”Intense color in a flat finish for all day wear. The long wearing formula goes on as a high pigmented liquid and dries to a flat matte finish leaving lips colored in gorgeous velvety perfection that last and lasts.”
Sounds great right! Curious to see which colors I picked ?
I’ve been a big fan of Kiko Cosmetics ever since I’ve been to one of their shops last year in Italy. Their products are beautiful, good quality and very affordable, which is a really good combo, right? I heard that a Kiko shop opened at the Amsterdam Central Station, so when I went to Amsterdam last week to visit my friends’ exhibition and the AMFI fashionshow, I knew I had to pay it visit and SHOP! Unfortunately the trains were a nightmare, so I arrived an hour later than planned, and only had about five minutes before had to leave again. So it ended up being a really short but sweet shop session. Hopefully next time I’ll have some more time and really try some more stuff out. I picked up these two lipsticks, the Deco Delight lipstick in Frison Rose and the Velvet Mat – Satin lipstick in Natural Rose.
Are they a match made in Kiko heaven? Check out my review and swatches!
Today I’m reviewing the EGF – Bio Cellulose Mask and the Bio-Cellulose Hydra-Soothing Moisturising Mask by Timeless Truth. These facial sheet masks were sent to me by BellezzaMask , a company that imports best selling sheet masks. I never tried a sheet mask before, so I was very curious to see how they work and what the whole fuzz about these Asian sheet masks is all about. Curious?
